Keri Hilson In South Africa: She Visits Prison Where Nelson Mandela Was Held, Plays Show In Capetown & Dances With Kids In Soweto

Keri Hilson made her first trip to South Africa.

After an exhausting 32 hour trip, Keri visited Robben Island where Nelson Mandela spent most of his 27 years in prison.

Afterwards she visited the Origins Centre and got to see the first human remains that were found in Ethiopia. Which confirmed for her that mankind comes from Africa.

She played a show in Capetown, The response was incredible, it was a really good feeling, she said.

I’m an American artist, I never expected to come this far away from home and be received like this.

Her final stop was in Soweto where she had a great time dancing with the kids there.
